 Why Are Table Joins Necessary?
CAPITAL stores its accounting information in
different tables for reasons of efficiency and organization. It
would be very inefficient to store all the information relating to
a customer account inside an invoice transaction. As well, if the
information on the customer account changed, the information stored
in the invoice would be out of date, and this would lead to
possible confusion. CAPITAL therefore tries to keep such
information in only one place in the system.
