Creating a Form - Conceptual

Steps In Creating A New Form (for Advanced
Users)
If you will be creating a form from scratch, the basic steps you
need to carry out are as follows:

Click on the Output
tab and enter a name for the report in the Title.

Also change the destination printer if
required.

From the File menu
select Page Setup. Decide whether you
want to print the form in landscape or portrait orientation.

Add the various objects that make up the form, to the page. A
list of all the objects you can use is found on the Insert menu.

If you want the form to prompt the user to
answer a series of questions (such as the date range or invoice
number to print, for example), then from the Edit menu select Form
Properties. Click on the Questions tab and define any questions here.

You may need to tell the Form when it should
stop printing information or what information to skip over (filter
out of the form/report). If this is the case, also click on the
Rules tab and enter any "filter" and/or
"exit" conditions.
