		Bank reconciliations can be performed easily in CAPITAL by clicking on the Bank Statement tab button. The on-screen running balance allows you to easily compare your bank's printed statements against the entries recorded in your system. Click on the Transactions tab to enter or add missing transactions such as bank fees, and then click on the Bank Statement tab to return to your bank reconciliation.

		CAPITAL features support for more barcode topologies than other systems, including popular favourites such as Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, AEAN/EAN/JAN, UPC, as well as more advanced formats such as PDF417. Any text object that can be printed, can also be printed as a bar code. Print transaction numbers or reference numbers as barcodes as well.

		The history of your bank account's balance can be monitored visually for each bank account in the cash management system. The cash management system incorporates sophisticated search functions and also includes full support for foreign currency bank accounts, contra payments and recurring transactions. Need to locate a particular transaction deposited into an account but have almost nothing to go on? Search by amount and even if you have the wrong bank account open, the system will open the correct one for you, once found.

		The Importing and Shipment Costing System lets you allocate shipping, duty, freight and other handling costs to your stock as it arrives in your warehouses. The flexible cost allocation system lets you assign costs according to value, weight, volume, or manually, or by using a combination of methods. The true cost of your inventory can be calculated, and the history of the costs associated with the items you import are maintained.

		The Service Management and Job and Project Costing system is used for tracking and managing service work and special project work. Job cards, both visually on-screen, and in printed form, can be customised to match the unique requirements of each business. The Service Manager tracks time/labour, parts and materials, charges, taxes, expenses, commencement and completion dates, assists with scheduling new work, and can be used to perform periodic billing.

		A variety of different graphical views of your service and project work are available, such as income versus costs, activity, your performance meeting promised completion dates, costs versus estimated costs and actual charges versus estimated charges, unbilled work in progress and others.

		Visual Builder is possibly the most powerful form design tool, report writer and label creator, ever developed for dedicated accounting software. While it is possible to use third-party reporting tools such as Crystal Report Writer, such products can never be fully integrated into your core business system. Visual Builder's Wizards allow you to create standard versions of all the main reporting and form categories. With the in-built 'scripting language' complex tasks can be performed, such as compiling a report, generating a data file, zip compressing it, and then emailing it to your head office, all with a few lines of script.

		CAPITAL supports both customer and supplier special pricing. Pricing, both for purchasing and selling goods, can be very general or very specific. For example, a specific item for a specific customer, at a specific quantity for a specific period of time. Or more general, such as pricing based on customer category or product group or supplier or unit of measure or any of these combinations and other criteria, such as any kind of user defined formula that can be described mathematically.
