CAPITAL Warehouse Manager offers many features and functions found only in systems costing tens of thousands of dollars more.

Description  
CAPITAL V8 is the next generation application suite based on the CAPITAL Series 7 codebase, but built using next generation native 32/64-bit compiler technology. CAPITAL V8 is built on an extremely robust application framework that has been developed by the CAPITAL Office Business Software development team from the ground up, giving the developers complete control over quality assurance and operating behaviour issues. CAPITAL V8 eliminates the memory limitations of Series 7, and opens a doorway into new technologies such as 64-bit computing.

CAPITAL V8 is 100% backward compatible with Series 7, so it will be possible to run a mix of Series 7 and V8 components on your server and desktop as these components are rolled out during 2006-2007.

Beyond incremental improvements in performance, stability and robustness, V8 will incorporate the latest design look and feel of the Windows Vista operating system.

  • Transaction drill-down from the Account Navigator. View all transactions that make up an account balance in any period, and open selected transactions with one click of your mouse.
  • Integration with CAPITAL Server Agent allows secure real-time postings to the general ledger from all system sub-ledgers. (Roll back support available in the Corporate Edition only.) Eliminates the need to run end of period processes.
  • Auto-reversing accrual management system.

    CAPITAL Helpdesk V8  
 
Description  
CAPITAL Helpdesk manages contact and communication issues with your user and client base. It will allow you to manage contact details, issue user ID's, record contact history, open 'tickets' for managing support requests, and open, email or fax documents such as FAQ's and contracts, to your clients. The integrated Expert System also allows operators to access dynamic trouble-shooting advice on product specific issues.
  • Incident and issue management tracking from point of contact to resolution.
  • Escalate technical issues to the technical staff and engineers who have the required qualifications.
  • Document and file tracking, such as FAQ's, technical bulletins, knowledgebase articles, product brochures, graphic, video files and miscellaneous files. These may be inspected during customer contact or emailed to customers.
  • Contract Management Tracking manages the contract type, period of cover, expiry date, service plan, warranty cover and other service agreements and commitments.
  • Contract Management renewal tracking with automatic pro forma invoice generation. Pro forma documents may be directly emailed to service agreement holders.
  • An integrated 'Expert System Builder' permits the creation of Troubleshooting Wizards to assist operators in stepping through common user issues and problems, using a multiple choice question and answer format. The collected data and final outcome may be stored as a result record in the database to escalate the issue to other staff such as technicians and engineers.
