Open Company

Selecting this option will produce a dialogue box listing all companies created on the system and available for selection. Click on the company you want (the scroll bar can be used if the number of choices exceeds the space available) and click Ok to select. If the company selected does not contain general ledger data files the following message will appear:

This does not appear to be a company

The general ledger will remain on the currently selected company. This message signifies that the company only contains CAPITAL Office files or does not contain any acceptable CAPITAL data files. If the selected area does not contain general ledger files you can create them using the create company wizard option.
