Last Year Balances

Use this operation to enter or correct prior year balances for each period in your chart of accounts. CAPITAL GL Controller will automatically transfer last year balances from the old year into the new financial year during an end of year roll-over. However, if these figures later need to be changed, or if this is your first year, these entries can be entered manually through this operation.

From the main menu select maintenance, last years balances to access this screen. Use the arrows to move through accounts in alpha-numeric sequence, or find to find an account by code or name. Once the account you wish to edit is on screen, click period to change and use the keyboard arrow keys to move between debit and credit and up and down arrows to move between periods and then enter or adjust your last year balances.

Click savewhen completed or Close will give you the option to save or exit without saving.
