Text Object Properties

This object allows you to place blocks of text on the form.

Text

Enter the text to display in this box.

Formula

You may optionally enter a formula in CAPITAL Business Script to determine a special condition for displaying the text.

If the formula returns TRUE or no formula is specified, the contents of the Text field is printed according to the Display On setting described below. If the formula returns a FALSE value, no text is displayed.

If the formula returns character text, this is displayed instead of the contents of the Text field. The Display On settings are still obeyed.

Test

Reports any errors if a formula is specified.

Font...

Press to change the font of the text.

Alignment

Use to select the left, right or center justification of text. Note pad text cannot be right or center justified.

Display On

Used to control when the text will be displayed:

All pages

Always print the text.

First page only

Only prints the text on page 1 of the form or report.

Last page only

Only prints the text on the last/final page of the form or report.

Even pages

Only prints the text on even numbered pages.

Odd pages

Only prints the text on odd numbered pages.

Hide

Hide the text - don't show it.

All pages but last

Prints text on all pages but last.
