Form Design Hints & Tips
Anchoring Objects to Margins
Report style body objects automatically shift form objects that appear below them, further down the page in order to avoid overlap. This is handy behaviour as special messages, totals and other information can be placed directly beneath report style body objects. Regardless of the body object's eventual size, other objects placed directly below such a body will appear at the end, even if that means Visual Builder must move those objects onto the next page.
You can, however, "fix" the position of an object on the page, regardless of the size of the report style body object displayed. This is done by anchoring the object to a margin. The margin is the green dashed line that surrounds the boundry of the form.
Place the object in the margin area of the form, so that your object at least partially overlaps the outside of the margin boundary. Visual Builder will then "lock" that object into place. The object will be printed on every page of the form.
If you wish to lock an object into place and also put it closer to the center of the page, increase your margin settings to accommodate this.
