Setting Form & Report Copies To Print


 

Setting the Number of Copies to Print of a Form or a Visual Builder Report

1. CAPITAL remembers the "number of copies to print" setting when users print forms. To check the current number of copies set for printing, open the applicable transaction and select from the menu File|Print. You can now set the number of copies to print from here:

generate/hint.gifIf you select from the menu Customise|Prompt For Copies To Print, the above dialog box will appear each time a form is printed.

 

2. The number of copies to print can also be set from within the Visual Builder form. Start Visual Builder and click on the Edit Form box and select the form you wish to check.

 

Once the form has loaded, select from the menu Edit|Form Properties. Then check that the number in the Copies field is correct.

 

3. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop. Double-click on the Printers folder icon. Point to the printer you are using and press the right mouse button. From the pop-up menu select Properties.

 

You will normally find the number of copies to print under the Paper tab. This number should be set to 1.

 

Setting the Number of Copies to Print of a Report

 

1. The number of copies to print for fixed reports is set to 1 when you first start CAPITAL. Before printing a report you will be prompted to print or print preview. Ensure that the Copies field is set to the correct number of copies to print. (Normally 1.)

 

2. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop. Double-click on the Printers folder icon. Point to the printer you are using and press the right mouse button. From the pop-up menu select Properties.

 

3. If the report was developed using Visual Builder, see the previous section for information on copies to print settings.
