When upgrading to Series 7 from CAPITAL DOS 2.7, CAPITAL will take the following action:
If the Service Manager is not in use (there are no job cards in the system) the latest version of the Service Manager screens are automatically installed. The existing SMAUX000.SCW, the screen lay-out mask, is renamed to SMAUX000.SBK. This may be renamed back to SMAUX000.SCW if you wish to restore it.
If the Service Manager is in use (job cards exist), the existing screen lay-out mask is not altered. It will need to be adjusted using the Screen Builder.
If you do not wish to adjust your current screen, but use the new default Series 7 screen instead, you can copy the file SMAUX000.SUP found in the \CAPITAL directory over your existing \CAPITAL\MYFIRM\SMAUX000.SCW file. Replace "MYFIRM" with the actual name of your company.

After you have installed the default Series 7 Service Manager screens, you should load the Screen Builder. Any user defined fields you have previously added, will automatically be placed on the next free screen page. You can then cut and paste these fields to the appropriate locations on your job card screen.
You can view the new default Service Manager screen by opening the Sample company and starting the Service Manager.
