1012 Corruption Detected
An index or data file may be corrupt.
This error may also indicate that a database file is corrupt. An automatic repair cannot fix this problem. Try to isolate the problem file and restore the file or your previous back-up. If you are attempting to import a dBase III data file generated by external software, you may get this error message if the structure of the file is invalid. Unfortunately many (perhaps most) computer programs that create/export dBase III files do not always do so correctly.
Follow this general diagnostic procedure:
Run
Scandisk on the "server" computer. This is the computer that stores CAPITAL's program files.
Perform
an Automatic Repair or Database Maintenance operation in CAPITAL Office.
If
you are running the general ledger, also perform the Database Maintenance operation in CAPITAL GL Controller.
