Year 2000 Compliance

CAPITAL GL Controller is "aware" of the year 2000 century change over and can handle any date range from 1951 - 2050. Any dates entered with the last two digits greater than or equal to "0" but less than "51" will be treated as belonging to the 21st century. Any date ranges from "51" to "99" are treated as belonging to the 20th century.

Although only two digits years are displayed on reports and on dialogs, CAPITAL maintains 4 digit years internally and all calculations are performed on 4 digit years. This ensures correct year processing and full year 2000 (2KY) compliance.
