Using The Sample Chart Provided

If you don't run CAPITAL Office (CAPITAL GL Controller is the only program from the series that you use) and you have looked at "Sample Chart" and decided to modify the existing chart, read this section. Otherwise skip to the next section.

The currently selected company is displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in the status bar. If this is the company you want to start work on, there is nothing in particular you need do. You are ready to begin. Otherwise, select the open company option.

Choose Files|Open Company from the menu, or click on the open icon.

A list of available companies will be displayed in a dialog box. Select the company you wish to work in. You will need to do this each time you start the program unless you specify a different default company under File|Properties. See: specifying a default start-up company.
