Proportion

Percentages for each period are proportioned against a total. A series of percentages are entered against each period, and then a base amount. The base amount is used to calculate what proportion is allocated to each period, depending on the previously assigned percentages.

Amount

The amount that will be used to base the percentage assignments on.

Click edit to allocate percentages to each period or relevant periods. It displays the total of the percentages assigned so far. Usually your target would be 100 per cent. When completed click Ok.
