Posting

From the general journal batches screen click post. The following menu of options will appear:

If you have just entered the batch you wish to post (such as your opening journal entries) select the option post - the selected batch and click ok.

CAPITAL GL Controller will spend a few moments checking the batch to ensure that entries in it refer to valid accounts and that all entries balance. If it passes these checks the batch will be "posted" and the accounts effected by the journals in the batch will be updated. If the batch is rejected note the warning message, then go back and edit the batch and correct the offending journal or journals.
