Percentage

The percentage of a base amount is used to calculate periods. Allocates a percentage increase or decrease based on a fixed amount, and divides the result into a range of periods. For example, if the fixed amount was $1000 and the percentage was 50 percent, the amount to allocate would be calculated at 1000 + 50% = 1500. This would then be divided by the number of periods in the range and allocated to each period in the range.
