Network is Busy

CAPITAL cannot proceed further with this operation because another user has locked files that you also need access to.

Exit this on-line help and then press the Retry button to see if you are now able to proceed. (The user user may already be finished.)

As a last resort you may press the Quit button to abort the program. You should only do this as a last resort. Aborting CAPITAL at the wrong point may cause data corruption if the system is mid-way through saving your data.

If you get this error message and there are no other users running on your network or you do not have a network, then:

1. Check to see if you have this application running in another Window. If so, close the other application.

2. Another user may have crashed their system, so that even though no user is currently running CAPITAL, the network file server still believes a user is "logged in." You may need to reset your file server in order to clear the user, or manually clear the user from the network file server user connection list.

3. Unusual network busy error messages may be caused by incorrectly installed or corrupted network configuration.
