To access Task Entry, select Tools|Appointments & Tasks from the main menu. Then press or .
Task
Enter a description of the task here.
Priority
Select the priority/urgency of the task here.
Tasks
are listed in order of priority. The lower the priority, the lower the task will appear in the task list.
Due Date
The date the task is due to be completed. If a due date is not known this field may be left blank.
Status
The status of the task.
Reminder Service
Remind me in
Tick
this option if you wish to receive a reminder about a task.
You
may select a reminder range from 30 minutes up to 1 month, or you may manually specify the reminder date
and time.
On Date
The date the reminder will be presented to you.
At Time
The approximate time the reminder will be presented to you.
Notes
Click on the tab button to record note information about this task.
Links
Click on the tab button to record cross-reference information about this task.
Name
Select the name of the user this task relates to if it does not relate to the currently logged in user.
Area
Select the area that this task relates. For example, if the task relates to the repair of a serviceable item, it might be assigned to the Service Manager area.
Account
You may optionally enter the account code the task item relates to.
Transaction
You may optionally enter the transaction number the task item relates to.
Reference
An optional cross-reference entry may be placed here, such as a customer or supplier reference number.
