Manage Quantities

Select this menu option to view stock item properties. You may also enter new items and allot quantities. Properties include such things as serial or batch numbers, characteristics such as style, size or colour and others. This menu option is the principle means by which unique stock item properties can be entered, viewed and edited.

The entries you will be prompted to enter or be able to inspect, i.e., the size or batch number, is determined by the unique stock property of the stock item in question.

Assign Properties

Use this menu option to select the properties the currently selected stock item will manage. Properties are created in INSTALLATION Workshop. Stock items normally inherit the properties of the stock group they are assigned to. This operation may be used to change those assignments by adding more or removing unnecessary ones, by individual stock item.

Find Movements/History

Allows you to view all unique stock item movements relating to completed transactions. (This is sometimes referred to as an "audit trail".) These include stock transfers, purchases, stock receipts, invoices, etc. Movements are recorded when transactions either enter or leave your firm. One exception, however, is a stock transfer, which records a movement within your firm.
