Special Application Settings

These settings are located or can be placed in the file CAPSYS.INI located in your main \CAPITAL directory.

Control Excel Run Process (OfficeLink)

CAPITAL will normally start the Excel application using the Windows Shell function. If your operating system prevents execution of the file manager's shell operation, then you may add the FilePath statement to the [OfficeLink] section to specify the path location and file name of the Excel application.

[OfficeLink]

FilePath=<Program Path + FileName>

For example:

FilePath=c:\program files\microsoft office\office\excel.exe

If specified, shell is not called. An attempt is made to execute the application pointed to by FilePath directly.
