Scripting Hooks ![]()
Scripting hooks allow you to change standard accounting and management system behaviour. Hooks are available at strategic points in the system where you may wish to have more control over the accounting software's standard operating behaviours.
An understanding of CAPITAL Business Script is required in order to be able to utilise scripts. It is not the purpose of this reference guide to teach computer programming concepts. These features are intended for system integrators (including programmers), consultants and advanced users only.
Hook files sit in CAPITAL's program directory. They also have the file extension .MAC. Sample scripts and script hook files can be found in the \CAPITAL\MAC directory.
