Screen Builder Properties

To access this window select File|Properties from the Screen Builder menu.

Screen Name

This is the name of the screen that will appear on the title bar of the screen window and as the title of the card file if the database is a card file.

Page Names

You can assign a name to the tab of each screen page. Place an ampersand (&) character in front of the key that you wish to underline. This will act as a short-cut key.

Pressing ALT-short-cut will switch you immediately to the specified page. Avoid assigning a short-cut key that will clash with an existing short-cut.

You can also change the colours of the page tabs by clicking on the colour button next to the tab's name.

Open When Saving Transaction

This option only applies to card files that are associated with a transaction. If ticked the card file will automatically open when the user saves a transaction.

Access Level

You may specify an access level between 0-9 for opening card files. This option does not apply to standard screens. 0 (zero) allows everybody access. Level 9 only allows administrator level access. If the user's security access level is less than the level specified here, the user will be unable to open the card file.

The access level of the card file does not prevent users from transferring records from other sources into the card file.
