Scan Routing Task ![]()
To select this operation open the Assembly Manager and select from the menu View|Scan Routing Task.
Enter the Assembly Task Number, followed by a dash (-) or forward slash (/) and then the Assembly Routing Step Number, as a quick way of indicating that a particular routing step has been completed. The relevant step will be marked as completed with the current system date and time.
For example, entering:
1028-3
will mark Step 3 of Assembly Task 1028 as completed.
If you wish to track the start time of a task in addition to when it is completed, then place an asterisk in the code sequence. For example:
1028-3*
will update the user's log-in name and start time. The completed date and end time will not be updated.
Unless the security system has been deactivated you must also enter your user password. The user name will be recorded against the completed task.
Task ID
The Task ID is made up of the task number, a dash, and the step number. An asterisk (*) after the step number indicates the task has been started rather than completed.
User Password
The password of the user who has completed the task. This is not required if the security system is deactivated.
