Sales Order Required Date Changed generate/enh73.jpg

The Required Date is used to determine when a stock item on a sales order is needed by a customer and when it therefore should be picked and packed by your warehouse staff. Each stock item on a sales order has an individual Required Date, in addition to the Required Date of the transaction. The individual item Required Date is what is used to determine when a stock item is ready to be picked and packed.

Altering the Required Date of the transaction only changes new entries that are placed on your transaction. If you wish to update your required dates for individual items that already have required dates assigned to them, you must place the 'Required' column on your transaction and edit those dates under the 'Items' tab, or select one of the global update options below.

Leave All Existing Required Dates Unchanged

Selecting this option will not alter any of the required dates already assigned to individual stock items on your transaction.

Change All Required Dates To Match This New Date

If this option is selected, all the required dates assigned to individual items on the transaction are replaced with the Required Date that has just been entered.

Only Update Required Dates That Matched Previous Date

If this option is selected, all the item required dates that matched the previous Required Date of the overall transaction, will be replaced with the new Required Date of the transaction.
