Quotations Are Valid For
Enter the number of days a quote is valid for. For example, if you enter 30 here, the expiry date of the quotation will default to the quotation date plus 30 days. If you leave this set to zero, a default expiry date is not assigned to quotations. The acceptable range is from 0-999 days.
Add Reminders For Follow-ups
If this option is ticked
a reminder is added to the system to inform you when the quote is ready to be followed up.
For
more information on tasks and reminders consult the topic: Appointments
& Task Manager.
If
a quotation is edited and resaved and a reminder already exists in the system, it is deleted and replaced
with a new reminder.
Automatically Close Expired Quotes
If this option is ticked
CAPITAL will treat quotations that have an expiry date as 'lost' (not successful) when the expiry date
exceeds the current system date and the status of the quote was previously set to 'open'.
