Pickup Management ![]()
Enterprise & Corporate Edition Only
To access the Pickup Database select Section|Card Files from the main menu and then select Pickups and press the button.
The Pickup Management database can be used as a place to record product pick-ups in a distribution environment. It allows you to record the following information:
The scheduled date of the pick-up
The product code
The surname/retailer or customer name
The delivery address
Comments and special instructions
The reason for the pick-up
The carrier code.
The assigned delivery zone.
Notes
When this information is entered in the system, the Pickups.sty report can be executed to produce a driver pickup runsheet.
While
this database is available in all versions of CAPITAL, only the Enterprise
Edition will automatically assign a carrier code and a delivery zone to each record in the system,
if carrier and delivery zone management is being used. You may change/override the automatically assigned
carrier and delivery zone codes if necessary or enter your own, rather than allow CAPITAL to assign them
automatically. When applicable, automatic assignment will occur after the
button is pressed.
