How To Cancel a Return

If you have made a mistake and need to cancel the return of an item, i.e., you have returned the wrong item, you can reverse the process by following this procedure:

1. Note when the item was first hired and last invoiced (if applicable - the item may not have a last invoiced date.)

2. Delete the item from the hire sheet.

3. Add the item to the hire sheet again. Ensure that the item's first hired and last invoiced dates match those of the original item.

Hire Stock & Multi-Location Stock Control

Hire stock is not location sensitive. You may hire stock from any location your business has from the one hire sheet. Be sure that you select stock from the correct location if you are using the multi-location stock control system.

Hire Card Total Does Not Balance

To check the totals on a hire manager job card run the Hire Manager Job Card Recalculation utility.

Access the Check Who Has Item facility.

How To Find Out If Enough Will Be Available For Hire

Access the Check Availability facility.
