Hire Manager Check Availability

Hire Manager Component Only


 

To access Hire Item Availability, go to the Hire Manager area and select from the menu Hire Entry|Check Availability, or press Alt-j.

Use this facility to estimate whether a particular stock item (or items) will be available for hire over a given period of time.

Product Code

Enter the product code to match hire stock on.

Description

You may enter the product description as an alternative to the product code.

Hire From Date

Enter the first date you wish to hire the item for.

To Date

Enter the last date you wish to hire the item for.

Total Hire Stock

This is the total physical stock you have available according to your stock control records.

Qty Required

Enter the quantity required for the designated period.

Press Enter or press the Find button to display a graph showing product availability. A green line indicates the item is available during the requested period. A red line indicates an availability shortfall. The black vertical line indicates the requested quantity target.

generate/notepad2.gifKeep in mind that the Expected Free estimate is dependent on operators entering correct Expected Back date information when entering hiring data. Not all hire items may have expected back dates assigned to them. Late returns will also affect the reliability of the estimate.
