Event Viewer
Enterprise & Corporate Edition Only
Electronic Document Exchange Only (For Email)
The Event Viewer is used to display system events. To access the Event Viewer select from the main menu Tools|Event Viewer.
If you are not running the Enterprise Edition of CAPITAL but do have the Electronic Document Exchange Component installed, the Event Viewer can be used to view the Email message history.
The Event Viewer displays events for the current logged in user only. To view events relating to all users or generic events relating to the entire system, press the button and select View All Events For All Users.
Backup
These entries relate to backups and restores of backups made using the Backup Wizard.
These entries relate to Emails send through CAPITAL using the Electronic Document Exchange Component, if it is installed.
Maintenance
These entries relate to database repair and maintenance issues.
Reminders
Reminders and special messages appear here.
Reporting
These entries record when and who executed standard system reports.
Security
These entries relate to security issues. Administrator level security access is required to view security events.
System
These relate to general system operations, including system errors and user activity.
