Product Code 1 - Description
Customer A Sales Figures
Customer B
Customer C
Product Code 2 - Description

Account Type

Product Code
In order to report on the performance of one product only, specify it here. If this option is left blank CAPITAL will prompt you to sort product sales by product code, stock or supplier group.
Sort By
Select from the drop down list, the following options:
Product
Will print report sorted by product code or stock group/product code sequence.
Sales total
Will print report sorted by greatest number of total sales.
Best mark-up
Will print report sorted by best mark-up.
Best margin
Will print report sorted by best margin.
Total units
Will print report sorted by total units sold.
Show Budgets
If selected, this will instruct the report to include the sales budget, actual performance, and percentage target performance on the report. Only products that have been specified product budgets via Stock Control, will display this information. As the budget is entered as a yearly total, CAPITAL automatically scales the budget to reflect the total budget/actual as a proportion of the report's specified date range.
If a product has a budget and this option is selected, CAPITAL will display that product on the report,
even if there have been no sales for the specified period. In this case, the target budget met will be
zero percent.
Include Tax
By default, the tax portion of the transaction is included as part of the sales total. Untick to exclude tax from the sales figures on the report. The gross margin will also be based on the tax free cost if this option is selected
Hints & Tips
Margin and mark-up sorting will result in the same sort sequence.
If the option to sort by sales, mark-up, margin or units is selected, the sorting takes place on the individual sales of particular products, not on the sales of a particular product code "as a group". The practical upshot of this is that the same product code may appear in more than one place on the report if price changes have occurred or if you sell at different prices for different customers. To guarantee all products are grouped together you must sort the report by product.
Because of report size limitations, the appearance of the report will change if two date ranges are specified for comparison. Print the report without a comparison date range specified to see the difference.
