Copy Stock Fields

Enterprise & Corporate Edition Only

To access the Copy Stock Fields facility start the INSTALLATION Workshop program and from the main menu select Install|Stock|Copy Fields...

Use this facility to select which fields are duplicated automatically when stock records are copied. Stock records are copied when:

When a user adds a stock record to the existing stock control system and decides to copy the currently selected stock record and use it as the basis of a new stock record.
A stock item is transferred to a location that does not yet exist, and a record of the stock item is then created for that location. (This applies only when multi-location stock control is activated.)

Tick the fields you wish to duplicate automatically when a new stock record is created.

Mark

Press the Mark button or click on the clipboard symbol under the C column to mark a record for inclusion on the copy list.

Mark All

Press the Mark All button to include all fields on the list of fields to copy.

Wipe All

Press the Wipe All button to exclude all fields on the list of fields to copy.

Restore

Press the Restore button to restore the list of selected fields to the default selections choosen by CAPITAL.

Manage Links Copy Fields

You may also tick the clipboard symbol under the M column to select which fields are duplicated when a stock record is edited and the Manage Links feature is activated.

This option has no effect if multi-location stock control is not activated.
