Cash Management Options


 

Bank Accounts

To view all bank accounts. You can add, edit, delete Cash Management Accounts from this screen.

Cash Book Entries

Takes you to the Cash Management Transactions system for the selected account. Payments, receipts, direct entries (journals) and all activities involving viewing, adding, editing or marking individual transactions that make up the balance of a bank account are performed here.

Bank reconcile

This option allows you to compare and check-off the deposits and receipts (payments) in your bank accounts with those indicated on your bank statement. The purpose of which is to determine whether you, or your bank, has made an entry mistake. Consult the topic Cash Management Reconciliation for more information.

Recurring entries

Allows you to enter a series of Cash Management Recurring Entries. This can be used to enter a series of cash management transactions that have the same value and details over a range of time periods. For example, rental fees, car repayments and regular deposits may fall into this category.

Define short-cuts

Allows you define short-hand abbreviations for account code references and allocation 'splits'. For example, if you regularly allocate bank fees and the expense code for bank fees is 1-3313-555, you could use a short-cut such as 'BF' to represent the code 1-3313-555.
