Blocking User Log Ins

When this entry exists in the CAPSYS.INI found in the \CAPITAL main directory:

[System]

PermitLogIn=No

Users will be unable to log into CAPITAL. This can be useful in situations where maintenance work requires users to be blocked from logging into the system. If users are already logged in, they will remain logged in until they return to the main system menu. At this point CAPITAL will advise them that the system is closed for maintenance and they will automatically be logged out.

Users should still be instructed to close their software down so that maintenance may be performed, since it is not mandatory for users to return to the main menus after any set period of time.
