Begin by specifying the type of backup you wish to perform by selecting from the list:

Options include:

CAPITAL programs, settings and all company records

All CAPITAL files are backup up in your CAPITAL directory. This is a complete system backup. It will take the longest time to perform.

All Company Records

All the companies you are running will be backed up, but your program files, system-wide configuration files, forms, reports and other special files will not be backed up. This is faster than a complete system backup as it only backs up those files that frequently change.

A Specific Company

Only the records of a specific company are backed up. Program files, forms, reports, system wide configuration files and other special files are not backed up. This is the fastest backup option but it backs up the least amount of information.

Verify The Backup

If you choose to verify the backup the system will reread the backup and check that there is no problem with the media it was saved to. If you are saving to floppy disk, this will require you to reload your disks back into the system so that they can be checked.
