To access the Materials/Stock Item Entry window select View|Materials/Stock from the Assembly Manager menu. Then press Add or Edit to add or edit an entry.

Item No

The stock item number. This can be any number between 1 and 999 and you may optionally designate a letter. For example, "32c" is a valid item number. Item numbering is used to designate the sorted sequence of your stock list.

Product Code

Enter the product code here or press F12 to a view a list.

generate/notepad2.gifNon-diminishing stock items cannot be assigned to the assembly system.

generate/notepad2.gifStock kits may not be assigned to "Finished Stocks".

Description

If you cannot locate a product by product code, specify the description instead. You may press F12 to view the stock list sorted by description.

Number of Units

The number of units to assign.

generate/notepad2.gif If multi-location Stock Control is active, goods to assemble must normally reside at the same location. The location can be changed by accessing Assembly Options.

Add To Work Order

Tick generate/tick2.gif to include the item on a printed work order.
