Assembly Manager Solver
Enterprise & Corporate Edition Only ![]()
You cannot build assembly templates or assign direct expenses to assembly templates.
Copying an assembly list will transfer the stock/materials, labour and finished stock records into a new assembly. Direct expenses are not transferred.
Changes to stock item cost prices, as well as the editing of expenses, is not reflected in the totals at the bottom of the screen until a recalculation is executed. (This saves a great deal of time by preventing the computer from updating pricing unnecessarily--particularly when complex and time consuming bills of materials need to be processed.)
This version of the Assembly Manager does not allow you to assign stock kits to "Finished Stocks".
Deleting an assembly process does not reverse its expense entries or affects on stock. Removing the assembly record does not, in other words, impact on your accounting system. If you need to reverse an error you should enter adjusting entries via Supplier Transaction Entries.
You cannot deallocate direct expense allocations once an assembly has been billed. If you wish to "clear" the allocation of a supplier transaction, the transaction must be deleted and re-entered.
Generally, minor stock variances will occur when the average stock calculation cannot evenly divide the total value of the stock into the necessary components exactly.
