Appointment Entry
To access Appointment Entry, select Tools|Appointments & Tasks from the main menu. Press the tab button and then press or .
Subject
Enter a description of the appointment here.
Date
Enter the date of the appointment here.
Time
Enter the time of the appointment here.
If
this is left blank, the time will default to 12:00am and the appointment will appear at the top of the
appointment list for the specified day.
To
Enter the time the appointment ends here, or you may tab over this field and enter the length of the appointment instead, in which case the appointment end time will automatically be filled in.
Length
Enter the length of the appointment here. If an appointment end time is specified the appointment length will be calculated automatically.
Status
You may specify whether the appointment is confirmed or tentative here.
Reminder Service
Remind me in
Tick
this option if you wish to receive a reminder about an appointment.
You
may select a reminder range from 30 minutes up to 1 month, or you may manually specify the reminder date
and time.
On Date
The date the reminder will be presented to you.
At Time
The approximate time the reminder will be presented to you.
Notes
Click on the tab button to record note information about this appointment.
Links
Click on the tab button to record cross-reference information about this appointment.
Name
Select the name of the user this appointment relates to if it does not relate to the currently logged in user.
Area
Select the area that this appointment relates to. For example, if the appointment relates to a customer account, it might be assigned to the Customers area.
Account
You may optionally enter the account code the appointment relates to.
Transaction
You may optionally enter the transaction number the appointment relates to.
Reference
An optional cross-reference entry may be placed here, such as a customer or supplier reference number.
