Allocations

Unique stock item allocations are the quantities allocated or reserved by transactions presently in the system and linked to the stock item's assignments.

For example, if serial number 10000 has been linked to a sales order which is pending in the system, then the assignment 1000 is allocated to this transaction.

In a like manner, if 100 BLUE 'shoes' are on back order, then a quantity of 100 BLUE's are allocated to that back order.
